Understanding the Degree Types
BEng (Bachelor of Engineering) - 3 Years
The standard undergraduate degree. Completing a BEng gives you Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status. To achieve full CEng status later, you will need to complete a 1-year Master's (MSc).
MEng (Master of Engineering) - 4 Years
An integrated undergraduate program. You study for 4 years straight from high school, graduating with a Master's degree. This fully satisfies the educational requirements for CEng status in one go.
MSc Engineering - 1 Year
For students who have already completed a 4-year BE (Bachelor of Engineering) at TU, KU, PU, or PoU in Nepal. You can complete a specialized Master's in just 1 year, saving massive amounts of tuition compared to the USA or Australia.

Entry Requirements by Nepali Qualification
UK universities publish requirements as “2:1 or equivalent”, which is not directly usable if you hold a Tribhuvan, Kathmandu, Pokhara or Purbanchal transcript. This table maps the common Nepali qualifications to what actually happens at application.
