Why AQF Compliance Matters — and HOA’s Proof

HOA’s commitment to the AQF is not a claim — it is verified by a decade of outcomes.

The structural reason HOA is commission-neutral: HOA earns standard referral commissions from all 153 UK partner universities at identical rates. There is no financial incentive to recommend any specific institution. If HOA recommends a wrong-fit university, the student gets rejected (HOA earns zero), or struggles and leaves a negative review (HOA’s 4.9/5 rating suffers). Ethical guidance is HOA’s only commercially rational strategy. Full ethics policy: student-first approach →

Professional Alignment

Our Commitment to Excellence

At House of Admissions, all operations are guided by the principles of the UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF). This framework ensures that our positioning as a trusted UK education agent in Nepal is built on a foundation of transparency and student protection.

By adhering to these institutional standards for UK university admissions support, we strengthen the confidence that parents, students, and UK university partners place in our services. Ethical student recruitment is not just a requirement — it is the core of HOA’s professional identity.

Since 2016, HOA has mentored 50+ Chevening Scholars — the UK Government’s most prestigious fellowship. This outcome is impossible without genuine student-first guidance: Chevening recipients are selected on academic excellence, leadership, and career impact — not on which university pays the highest commission.

For Nepali parents: The AQF guarantees your child receives honest, accurate, unbiased advice about UK universities. HOA’s commitment means every university recommendation and visa guidance step is made strictly in the student’s best academic and financial interest — with the full NPR cost breakdown at NPR 195/£1 before any commitment.

For Nepali Students

What the AQF Means for You as a Nepali Student

Nepal is the UK’s 5th largest student source country (20,600+ sponsored visas). AQF compliance directly affects your university application, visa, and UK experience.

No Commission Pushing

HOA’s commission is identical across all 153 UK partners — you get the university that fits your career, not the one with the highest referral fee.

Full NPR Cost Clarity

Before you commit, HOA shows you the complete cost in NPR at NPR 195/£1: tuition + city costs + visa (£524) + IHS (£776/yr) + 28-day balance (£10,539 outside London).

MOI Eligibility First

HOA checks your MOI letter eligibility in session one — potentially saving you NPR 25,000+ in IELTS fees and 3 months of preparation.

Meticulous Visa Files

Every document is audited before VFS Global submission: bank statements (28-day rule), TB test validity, CAS accuracy, IELTS/MOI compliance. Result: 99% visa success rate.

Beyond the Visa

AQF Pillar 4 (Student-Centred Practice): HOA’s UK Landing Package covers BRP, UK bank account, NHS registration, SIM card, and National Insurance — all free.

Operational Safeguards

How HOA Implements the AQF — Step by Step

Our 5-step AQF compliance process — applied to every student at both Kathmandu and Pokhara offices.

Profile Assessment & Objective Advice

First question: “What career do you want in 5 years?” — not “which university pays us most?” Aligned with AQF Pillar 3 (Objective Advice).

AQF Pillar 3

Transparent University Matching

HOA discloses its referral arrangement. Commission is identical across all 153 partners — eliminating financial bias. Aligned with AQF Pillar 2 (Ethical Business Practice).

AQF Pillar 2

Rigorous Document Verification

Every visa document audited before VFS submission. Under the new UKVI RAG system (1 June 2026), HOA’s verification protects both student and university.

AQF Pillar 1

Continuous Professional Development

Counsellors complete British Council-aligned training and stay current with UKVI policy — including 2026 RAG system, eVisa transition, and BCA threshold changes. AQF Pillar 5.

AQF Pillar 5

Post-Enrolment Student Support

HOA’s commitment extends beyond the visa. UK Landing Package: BRP collection, NHS registration, UK bank account, SIM card — AQF Pillar 4 (Student-Centred Practice).

HOA’s Operational Safeguards

List of operational safeguards implemented by House of Admissions aligned with the UK Agent Quality Framework
Safeguard Area HOA’s Commitment & Process
Document Verification Every academic transcript, bank statement (28-day rule: £10,539 outside London / £13,761 London = NPR ~20.5L / ~26.8L), CAS detail, and TB test certificate is audited by HOA’s compliance team before VFS Global submission. This audit is the primary reason for HOA’s 99% UK Student Visa success rate.
Course Matching (Student-First) University shortlists are built on 5 criteria: Right Course (career goal), Right University (graduate employment rate), Right Location (city cost vs salary sector), Right Graduate Prospects (Graduate Route planning), Right Tuition Fee (NPR breakdown). Commission plays no role.
Visa Guidance Accurate, UKVI-current visa guidance including 28-day bank balance, TB test at approved Nepal clinics (IOM Panipokhari, CIWEC), eVisa system (from February 2026), and VFS Global mandatory in-person submission. Includes credibility interview preparation where risk is identified.
Transparent Partnerships HOA discloses its UK university referral arrangements. Commission rates are identical across all 153 partners. Students are told upfront how HOA earns — only when they successfully enrol. No upfront fees at any stage.
UKVI RAG Compliance (2026) HOA monitors all 153 partner universities’ RAG trajectory under the new UKVI system (live 1 June 2026). HOA does not refer students to universities showing red or amber compliance risk. HOA’s 99% visa success rate keeps partner universities firmly in the green band (<4% refusal rate).
Professional Training Continuous professional development for all counsellors aligned with British Council standards. Training includes UKVI policy updates, RAG system changes, scholarship processes, and ethical agent practice under the National Code of Ethical Practice.
Scholarship Applications HOA applies for every eligible scholarship alongside every university application — Chevening, GREAT (£10,000 for Nepal), Commonwealth, and university merit bursaries. Scholarship support is never charged. £2,000,000+ secured and 50+ Chevening Scholars mentored since 2016.
FAQ

Common Questions — AQF & HOA Standards

The UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF) is a voluntary professional standard developed by the British Council, BUILA, UKCISA, and Universities UK International (UUKi). It sets ethical and professional standards for UK education agents worldwide, covering five pillars: Organisational Behaviour, Ethical Business Practice, Objective Advice, Student-Centred Practice, and Professionalism.
Yes. HOA adheres to the principles of the UK Agent Quality Framework through its student-first guidance model, transparent free service, rigorous document verification, and British Council-aligned continuous professional development. HOA is UKVI-compliant and has a 99% UK Student Visa success rate from Nepal — verified by 490+ reviews at 4.9/5 on Google and Facebook.
No. HOA earns standard referral commissions from all 153 UK partner universities at identical rates. This eliminates any financial incentive to recommend any specific institution. Every university shortlist is built on: Right Course (career goal), Right University (graduate employment rate), Right Location, Right Graduate Prospects, and Right Tuition Fee (full NPR breakdown). Full ethics policy: student-first approach.
The AQF ensures students receive honest, accurate, unbiased advice about UK universities. For HOA specifically: (1) No commission-driven recommendations; (2) Full NPR cost breakdown before commitment; (3) MOI eligibility check to potentially skip IELTS and save NPR 25,000+; (4) Meticulous visa document audit before VFS Global submission; (5) Post-enrolment UK Landing Package covering BRP, NHS, UK bank account.
No. All HOA services are 100% free to students — no registration fee, processing fee, SOP fee, visa preparation fee, or scholarship application fee. HOA earns only when a student successfully enrols at a UK partner university. The fee is paid by the university, not the student.
The UKVI RAG system (live 1 June 2026) rates universities on visa refusal rate, enrolment, and completion. HOA's AQF-aligned document verification directly helps partner universities stay green. HOA's 99% Nepal visa success rate means HOA-processed students contribute approximately 1% visa refusal — well within the green threshold of below 4%.

This meticulous process is the primary reason for HOA's 99% UK Student Visa success rate from Nepal.

Why Nepali Students Choose the UK for Higher Education — and HOA for Guidance

The United Kingdom is a popular higher-education destination for Nepali students. A UK bachelor’s degree typically takes three years and a taught master’s one year, which can reduce the total years of study compared with four-year systems elsewhere. Several UK universities — including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London and UCL — rank in the global top tier, and more than 40 UK institutions appear in the QS World University Rankings top 200 (QS World University Rankings). Tuition varies by course and university and is listed on each university page; House of Admissions matches each student to programmes that fit their budget and academic profile.

The UK Student Visa, governed by Appendix Student of the UK Immigration Rules, permits up to 20 hours of paid work per week during term time and full-time work during vacations (UK Home Office, gov.uk/student-visa), helping students offset living costs. The required 28-day maintenance balance is £10,539 for study outside London (≈ NPR 20.5 lakhs at NPR 195/£1) or £13,761 for London (≈ NPR 26.8 lakhs), per UK Home Office guidance. House of Admissions prepares complete visa files, with a reported 99% approval rate across applications it has supported (self-reported).

Living costs vary by city. Per HESA and UCAS estimates, students in cities such as Birmingham, Manchester and Loughborough typically budget around NPR 14–22 lakhs per year, compared with NPR 25 lakhs or more in London. Nepali graduates who studied in English at Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University, Kathmandu University or Purbanchal University can apply to 25+ UK universities via a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter instead of IELTS — saving up to NPR 35,000 in examination and preparation costs and 2–3 months of preparation, where the chosen university accepts MOI.

After graduation, the Graduate Route grants unrestricted work with no job offer or sponsor required (UK Home Office, gov.uk/graduate-visa). Its length depends on when the Graduate Route application is filed, not on the course dates: 18 months for applications filed on or after 1 January 2027, and 2 years only for those filed on or before 31 December 2026 (PhD graduates keep 3 years either way). Because a student beginning a UK course now will file well after that cutoff, the 18-month figure is the realistic planning number. Graduate Route time does not count toward the standard 5-year Skilled Worker settlement clock; the usual path is Graduate Route → switch to the Skilled Worker visa at the £38,700 salary threshold → Indefinite Leave to Remain after five qualifying years on the Skilled Worker route.

House of Admissions has secured £2M+ in scholarships for Nepali students since 2016 (self-reported), including 50+ Chevening placements (funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office), GREAT Scholarships (£10,000 partial awards), Commonwealth Scholarships (fully funded), and university merit awards of £2,000–£10,000+. Scholarship matching is included in HOA’s free service. Schools, colleges and organisations in Nepal can offer HOA’s UK guidance to their communities through a free partnership arrangement. Two offices serve all seven provinces of Nepal: HOA Kathmandu at Putalisadak, and HOA Pokhara at Trade Mall, Chipledhunga. Book a free consultation at either office →
