Why UK-only? A UK Master’s typically takes 1 year, often saving a full year of cost versus longer programmes elsewhere. The Graduate Route Visa gives post-study work with no sponsor required — 18 months for applications filed on or after 1 January 2027, 2 years for those filed on or before 31 December 2026 (3 years for PhD). 2026 Note: UKVI RAG System
From 1 June 2026, UKVI rates UK universities Red, Amber, or Green on visa refusal, enrolment, and completion rates (UKVI Sponsor Guidance, June 2026).
