Trade Mall is at Chipledhunga Chowk in central Pokhara; HOA is on the 3rd floor.

Almost everything happens in Pokhara or online. You need one trip to Kathmandu for the TB test and visa biometrics, and you fly to the UK from Kathmandu. Plan the TB test and biometrics for the same trip to save a second journey.

1. Visit or call the Pokhara office

   Walk in at the 3rd floor of Trade Mall, Chipledhunga, or call +977-9802857725. Bring your mark sheets, any English test result and a rough budget.

2. Get your shortlist

   A counsellor checks your grades, English options (IELTS, PTE or an MOI letter where accepted) and budget, and shortlists UK universities and an intake.

3. Apply with HOA

   HOA prepares and submits your applications and statement of purpose, and tracks offers until you accept one and receive your CAS.

4. Prepare your money and NOC

   Hold unpaid first-year tuition plus living costs for 28 days in a row, and get your NOC online from MoEST.

5. Make one Kathmandu trip

   Take the TB test at an approved clinic, apply online, and give your biometrics at the visa centre in Kathmandu; plan both for the same trip if you can.

6. Get your eVisa and fly

   Decisions usually take about 3 weeks. HOA briefs you before you fly from Kathmandu, and HOA’s London team can help you settle in.

You need unpaid first-year tuition plus living costs in your account for 28 days in a row, and the living-cost amount rises on 30 November 2026. Any Class A commercial bank regulated by Nepal Rastra Bank is acceptable, including the branches in Pokhara.

• Visa fee and health surcharge: £558 plus the Immigration Health Surcharge, typically £1,164 for a one-year master’s, so about £1,722 in total (GOV.UK, IHS). Use GOV.UK’s calculator for your exact CAS dates.
• Funds rule: the 28 days end no more than 31 days before you apply (GOV.UK).
• NOC: NPR 2,000 online, needed before you transfer fees abroad (MoEST).

Often, yes: many UK universities accept a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from an English-medium degree instead of IELTS. Students of Pokhara University and of Tribhuvan University campuses in the city, such as Prithvi Narayan Campus, usually request the letter from their own college or campus office.

• Ask your college for an MOI letter on letterhead, stating that your programme was taught and assessed in English.
• Check acceptance first: each UK university sets its own rules. Most Russell Group universities, and courses such as nursing, still need an English test.
• Saving: skipping the test can save up to NPR 35,000 in test and preparation costs.
