Yes. Pokhara University (PU) students enrolled in English-medium programmes are eligible for a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter, which is accepted by over 25 UK universities in HOA's partner network as an IELTS alternative. This saves the NPR 25,000+ IELTS registration and preparation cost, per individual university admissions policies.

Since PU's administrative offices are in Pokhara, PU-affiliated college students can typically collect MOI letters within 3–7 days. HOA Pokhara provides a sample MOI letter format. HOA verifies eligibility with each target university before application submission, as not all UK institutions accept MOI letters.

Bring: Grade 10/SEE marksheets, Grade 12/+2 or Bachelor's degree transcripts and certificate, passport copy, and any IELTS or PTE scores if available. IELTS is not required at the consultation stage. The initial session takes 60–90 minutes and produces a personalised shortlist of 3–5 UK universities with a cost breakdown in NPR and scholarship eligibility assessment.

The Graduate Route visa, introduced by the UK Home Office under the Points-Based Immigration System, grants 2 years of unrestricted work rights post-graduation (3 years for PhD graduates), with no employer sponsor or job offer required (gov.uk/graduate-visa, 2026). Students can work in any sector, with any employer, at any salary level. After the Graduate Route, students qualifying for a sponsored role at a minimum salary of £38,700 per year (gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/your-job/salary-requirements, 2026) may apply for the Skilled Worker Visa, which contributes to the 5-year ILR qualifying period.
