Who Is Eligible for Chevening from Nepal?
- A citizen of Nepal (a Chevening-eligible country).
- An undergraduate degree that lets you enter a UK master’s.
- At least 2,800 hours of work experience. Full-time, part-time, voluntary and internship work can count, but compulsory course placements do not.
- Three different eligible UK master’s courses in your application.
- A commitment to return to Nepal for at least two years after your award.

How Should You Prepare for the Next Round?
- Count your hours so you reach 2,800 by the deadline.
- Draft the four essays (leadership, networking, studying in the UK, career plan) months before August.
- Shortlist three courses and apply to universities early, because you need an unconditional offer by July.
- Plan English evidence: universities set their own requirement.
