MBA in the UK for Nepali Students: Fees, Entry and Visa (2026–27)
Most UK MBAs take a year. Fees range from about £13,000 at some universities to far more at business schools, and entry usually depends on work experience. Here are published fees and the rules.
Is a UK MBA Right for You?
Most UK MBAs take one year. Published 2026/27 fees at the universities HOA checked ranged from £13,000 (Wrexham) to £20,370 (Birmingham City, 15 months); business-school MBAs cost much more. Many MBAs ask for work experience, and GMAT is rarely required outside business schools. Visa money rules are the same as any master’s.
It suits graduates with some work experience who want management roles. If you have little experience, an MSc in management or business is usually the better fit; see business courses.

How Much Does an MBA Cost in the UK?
These are MBA fees published on the universities’ own pages for 2026/27, read on 20 October 2026. Business schools at research universities usually charge much more; check each school.

For the visa you show the tuition you still owe plus up to nine months of living costs: £1,203 a month outside London or £1,570 in London for applications from 30 November 2026 (£1,171 and £1,529 before).
What Do UK MBAs Ask For?
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
- Work experience: many MBAs ask for two years or more; some “international MBAs” accept less.
- English: usually IELTS 6.5 overall; some universities accept an MOI letter.
- GMAT: usually only at business schools.
Online and blended MBAs
Distance and online MBAs cannot lead to a Student visa. If a course is blended, confirm in writing that it is sponsored for a Student visa before you pay.
