Why Deadlines Matter More Than You Think
UK scholarship applications are highly competitive. Missing a deadline by even one day will disqualify you regardless of how strong your application is. Plan your calendar well in advance, especially around Nepal's festival seasons (Dashain, Tihar) which often fall during peak application periods.

Dates checked 20 October 2026 against chevening.org, the British Council GREAT Scholarships page, the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and UK university UCAS date pages. Check each source again before you rely on a date.

Postgraduate applications go directly to each university and usually have no single national deadline, but popular courses and scholarships fill early. Applying by January 2027 keeps most September 2027 scholarship options open.
