|---|---|---|

IOM fees are paid in Nepali rupees at IOM’s exchange rate, directly to the clinic. Norvic may ask female applicants aged 12 to 54 to pay NPR 650 for a urine pregnancy test. The fee does not cover TB treatment, and it is separate from the visa fee.
What to Bring
- Photo identification, usually your passport
- Two recent passport-size photos
- The test fee
- If you have had TB or another lung disease: details of earlier screening and, if possible, your medical notes and X-ray results
You can ask for a female clinician when you book.
When to Book and How Long It Takes
Appointments are usually available within a few days, but waits can reach 10 days from June to October, the Student visa peak. The test is a chest X-ray; if it shows anything unclear, further tests can add several weeks, so do not leave it to the last moment.
Book once your course and CAS are confirmed, so the certificate is still valid when you apply. Pokhara students usually travel to Kathmandu for the test and for VFS biometrics; see the Pokhara office page for what can be done locally.
