What to Prepare Before Your Session
- Academic transcripts: Grade 10/SEE marksheets, Grade 12/+2 marksheets, and Bachelor's degree transcripts and certificate (if applicable). Scanned copies are sufficient for virtual sessions.
- English language evidence: IELTS or PTE Academic score certificate if available. If applying via the MOI pathway, arrange an MOI letter from your Nepali institution — accepted by 25+ UK universities instead of IELTS.
- Passport copy: Valid passport photo page. Ensure validity extends at least 6 months beyond the expected course start date.
- Course preference: Research your preferred courses at the participating university before the session. Having 2–3 course options ready allows the admissions representative to assess eligibility accurately.
- Financial documentation awareness: The UK Home Office requires 28 consecutive days of funds — tuition fees plus £10,539 for study outside London (approximately NPR 20.5 lakhs at the Nepal Rastra Bank reference rate of NPR 195 per GBP) held in a UKVI-approved Nepali bank (gov.uk/student-visa, 2026). Knowing your financial position in advance enables the counsellor to provide accurate visa guidance.
- Questions list: Prepare specific questions — scholarship availability, deferred entry options, English language requirements, and course start dates are most useful to raise during the session.
Students who receive a Conditional or Unconditional Offer during the 2–10 July sessions can realistically complete CAS issuance, 28-day bank fund compliance, and UK Student Visa application in time for a September 2026 UK start. Standard UKVI visa processing from Nepal takes approximately 3 weeks. HOA manages the full post-offer process at no cost to the student.
What These Sessions Provide for Nepali Students
Each virtual session is a structured meeting with a UK university's admissions representative, facilitated by HOA. The following outcomes are available to prepared students.
Direct Profile Assessment
The admissions representative assesses your academic profile — NEB +2 percentage, Bachelor's degree classification, or IELTS score — against the university's 2026 entry requirements and confirms eligibility on the spot.
Conditional Offer Possibility
Students with complete academic documentation who meet entry requirements may receive a Conditional or Unconditional Offer during or immediately following the session, avoiding the standard 2–4 week application processing period.
Scholarship Identification
Discuss your profile directly with the university representative to identify merit-based bursaries, international scholarships, and fee reduction packages not always published in general course listings. House of Admissions has assisted Nepali students in securing over £2M in scholarship funding since 2016.
MOI Pathway Confirmation
Students from Tribhuvan University (TU), Kathmandu University (KU), Pokhara University (PU), or Purbanchal University-affiliated colleges may qualify for the MOI letter pathway — accepted by 25+ UK universities as an IELTS alternative, per individual university admissions policies.
September 2026 Timeline Clarity
The admissions representative will confirm whether September 2026 entry is still achievable for your profile, which courses still have availability, and what the deposit and CAS issuance timeline looks like — essential information for last-minute applications.
No Cost to Students
All HOA event registrations and sessions are free. House of Admissions is UKVI-compliant and funded through educational partnership agreements with 153 UK universities. Students pay nothing at any stage of the admissions process.
UK Student Visa Timeline — September 2026 Entry from Nepal
Students who receive an offer through the July 2026 sessions can realistically complete the UK Student Visa process in time for September 2026 entry, provided the following timeline is followed precisely.
2–10 July — University Session and Offer
Attend virtual session with HOA and university representative. Eligible students receive Conditional or Unconditional Offer. Accept offer and pay tuition deposit (typically £1,000–£5,000) to trigger CAS issuance.
Mid-July — CAS and NOC
University issues Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number, typically within 1–2 weeks of deposit payment. Simultaneously, apply for the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) via noc.moest.gov.np — fee NPR 2,000, processed in 1–5 working days, as required for all Nepali students travelling abroad for study.
Late July — 28-Day Bank Funds
Ensure the required funds — tuition fees plus living costs — are in a UKVI-approved Nepali bank account. The UK Home Office requires £10,539 for study outside London (9 months × £1,171/month), approximately NPR 20.5 lakhs at the Nepal Rastra Bank reference rate of NPR 195 per GBP; or £13,761 for London (approximately NPR 26.8 lakhs), per Appendix Student of the UK Immigration Rules (gov.uk/student-visa, 2026). The 28-day window must be met before submitting the visa application.
Early August — Visa Application
Submit UK Student Visa application online at gov.uk/student-visa. Pay the £558 application fee and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) of £776 per year of study, as set by the UK Home Office (immigration-health-surcharge.service.gov.uk, 2026). Book and attend biometrics at VFS Global Nepal, Kathmandu.
Late August — Visa Decision
Standard UKVI processing from Nepal takes approximately 3 weeks. A successful outcome produces a vignette visa sticker valid for UK entry. Source: HOA internal processing data; standard UKVI timelines, gov.uk/student-visa, 2026.
September — UK University Arrival
Fly from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (or Pokhara International Airport) to the UK. HOA provides a pre-departure briefing covering BRP collection, NHS registration, National Insurance, and UK bank account setup.
Deadline note: To meet a September 2026 start, the visa application should be submitted no later than mid-August 2026. This requires CAS issuance by late July and 28-day bank fund compliance beginning by mid-to-late July. Students who attend sessions in the first half of the July schedule have more timeline flexibility. HOA advises on the specific deadline for each student's institution and circumstances.

All sessions are free to registered participants.
Nine UK universities are participating across daily sessions from 2–10 July 2026:
2 July — University of East London (London) | 3 July — University of Chester (North West) | 4 July — University of Roehampton (London) | 5 July — Ravensbourne University London | 6 July — University of Suffolk (East of England) | 7 July — University of Greenwich (London) | 8 July — University of Strathclyde (Glasgow) | 9 July — University of Surrey (South East) | 10 July — University of West London.
Yes. The September 2026 intake application window remains open at many UK universities through July 2026, subject to course availability. The HOA Last-Minute Application series (25 June–15 July 2026) is specifically designed for this purpose. Students who receive a Conditional or Unconditional Offer by mid-July can complete CAS issuance, 28-day bank fund compliance, and UK Student Visa application in time for a September 2026 start, as standard UKVI processing from Nepal takes approximately 3 weeks. HOA advises on timeline viability for each individual student's circumstances.
Prepare: academic transcripts (Grade 10/SEE, Grade 12/+2, Bachelor's degree if applicable), official certificates, valid passport copy, and IELTS or PTE Academic score if available. If applying via the MOI letter pathway, arrange the letter from your Nepali institution before the session. Having complete documentation at the virtual meeting increases the likelihood of receiving a Conditional Offer on the day.
Register via WhatsApp at +977-9802373936, specifying which university session you wish to attend and your preferred date. You can also click the Register button next to each session in the schedule table above. HOA will confirm your slot, provide the virtual meeting link, and send a preparation checklist. Registration is free and slots are limited — early registration is advised.
The UK Home Office requires applicants to demonstrate available funds held continuously for 28 consecutive calendar days, per Appendix Student of the UK Immigration Rules (gov.uk/student-visa, 2026). The required total is first-year tuition fees plus: £10,539 for study outside London (9 months × £1,171/month), equivalent to approximately NPR 20.5 lakhs at the Nepal Rastra Bank reference rate of NPR 195 per GBP; or £13,761 for London (approximately NPR 26.8 lakhs). Funds must be held in one of the 12 UKVI-approved Nepali banks. See full bank balance guide and UK Student Visa guide.
Yes. Students may register for and attend sessions with multiple universities. HOA will advise which sessions are most relevant based on your academic profile, desired subject, and budget. Each session is a separate virtual meeting with independent registration. Attending multiple sessions increases the range of offer options available to you, and HOA will assist in comparing offers, scholarships, and locations after each session.
