Section 03 When are the offices open?

Both Nepal offices open Sunday to Friday, 9:30 AM–6 PM Nepal Time. Saturday opening (11 AM–4 PM) is for peak application season only. WhatsApp first on public holidays.

  • Calling from the UK? Nepal is 4 hours 45 minutes ahead of UK summer time (BST) and 5 hours 45 minutes ahead of UK winter time (GMT). 9:30 AM in Kathmandu is 4:45 AM in London in summer.
  • Outside office hours? Send the form or a WhatsApp message; we reply the next working morning.

Section 04 What happens after you get in touch?

    WhatsApp, call, walk in or use the form. Tell us your name, your latest qualification and the course you are thinking about.

  2. Book your free consultation

    A counsellor replies, usually the same working day, and books a time at the Kathmandu or Pokhara office or online.

  3. Have your profile assessed

    Bring mark sheets, any English test result and a rough budget. The counsellor checks entry requirements, MOI eligibility and scholarship options.

  4. Get your shortlist and plan

    You leave with UK universities that fit your grades and budget, an intake, and a step-by-step plan from application to visa. It costs nothing.

Who you will talk to: all 20+ HOA counsellors hold the British Council’s UK counsellor certification. HOA gives UKVI-compliant guidance and follows AQF-aligned practice, and works only on UK admissions.

Section 05 Can you get advice without visiting an office?

Yes. Counsellors hold full consultations online for students in all seven provinces and for Nepali students abroad. The session covers the same ground as a visit: your grades, English test options, universities, costs and the visa.

  • How: Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video, at a time agreed with your counsellor.
  • Book: send the form or WhatsApp a time that suits you.
  • Have ready: photos or scans of your mark sheets and any English test result, so the counsellor can check entry requirements during the call.

Visa extensions and switching: in the UK, only advisers registered with the Immigration Advice Authority, or solicitors, can give immigration advice. Find one through GOV.UK’s adviser search.

No. Walk-ins are welcome at the Kathmandu and Pokhara offices during opening hours. Booking a time on WhatsApp first means a counsellor is ready for you, which helps in busy weeks before intake deadlines. London visits are by appointment only.

As of 15 October 2026, January 2027 is open at many UK universities for selected courses, and February 2027 at a few. September 2027 is the next main intake. A counsellor will tell you which fits your documents and timeline.

Often, yes. Many UK universities accept a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter or another English test instead of IELTS, though most Russell Group universities and courses such as nursing still need a test. See studying in the UK without IELTS.
